Return Policy

Overview

ALD Electronics stands behind the professional and commercial equipment we sell. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we will work with you to make it right. Please read the policy below carefully before initiating a return.

Return Window

Returns are accepted within 30 days of the original shipment date. Requests submitted after this period will not be accepted except in cases covered by a manufacturer warranty.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Returned within 30 days of the shipment date.
  • In original, unused condition with all original packaging, documentation, and accessories.
  • Not a special-order, custom-configured, or made-to-order item (these are non-returnable).
  • Free of damage, modifications, or signs of use beyond initial inspection.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please visit our Contact Us page with your order number and reason for return. We will respond within 1–2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. Returns sent without a valid RMA number will not be accepted.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective on arrival). We recommend using a trackable shipping method. ALD Electronics is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.

Restocking Fee

A restocking fee of up to 15% of the item’s purchase price may apply to returns that are not the result of our error. The fee will be disclosed at the time your RMA is issued. This is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of approval or rejection. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

If you received a defective or incorrect item, we will ship a replacement at no additional charge once the original item is received and inspected. For all other exchanges, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives defective or damaged, please contact us within 5 business days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion and at no cost to you.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return: special-order and custom-configured equipment, software licenses and downloadable products, consumable or single-use items that have been opened, and items returned without a valid RMA number.
